I got a great "gift" from a great lady today. I ran into her at the store (you, Donna are great, and it was fun to shop with you, but this story isn't about you) and she asked if she could do anything to help with the play. Instead of saying no, I asked if she could sew. Then we walked to the fabric section and picked out the fabric and she is making two skirts for the play. I don't have to, and I have a burden lifted. It was a great sunshine moment.
But shopping with you was sunny too, so your fortune came true. And I never would have found the perfect gift for my mom without you. So hooray for good friends.
I actually carry a fortune cookie fortune around in my purse. Are you curious what the fortune could have possibly said that made a completely non-superstisious person like myself keep it and carry it around?
