Let it Snow...

Holy Moly! It has snowed buckets here in Reno since yesterday afternoon. My kids had a snow day on Monday PLUS a two hour delay today. And, while I love the snow and the hot chocolate and the awesome winter food (chicken fricassee, chili and cornbread, roast and mashed potatoes), I don't know how much more I can take of kids stuck inside all day. My son was literally swinging off the kitchen cabinets last night. ahem! Adam. All I'm saying is, can the kids please go back to school so I can resume writing?

  1. I don't think they have snow days in Utah. I have never heard of it happening since we've lived here.

My condolences on having all that little energy bottled up inside the house. Hopefully we'll get a snow break soon. I'm already over it.

  2. Bring on the Christmas Eve snow.

  3. Imagine living in Seattle where the kids are stuck inside 9 months of the year. We could tell in primary if the weather was bad all week. I couldn't raise my kids there :)

  4. Today it was 7 degrees in P-town. The windows froze shut on my car. I'm just glad I had AWD so I wasn't slidin' around at every turn.

Sounds like you guys had it pretty brutal though, bad enough to be cancelled?!

  5. There's still a good two or three inches of snow packed down on my street. I think they plowed once since the storm began on Sunday night.
