Editing and Old Projects

How long do you wait after finishing a WIP till you go back and edit?

Do you ever revisit old projects and tweak them to make them better?  Or are they just rejection bin fodder?

  1. I think old projects are always available for tweaking. Just because something didn't work the first time around doesn't mean it won't stick another time.

  2. I try to finish as much as I can and let it sit a couple of weeks, unless I have a deadline to meet, before starting to edit. Otherwise I over-edit and get stuck in the same section.

I agree with Deb. Old projects always have potential to be revived.
