Coming Home

Homeward bound.
I guess I am
Homeward bound.
Home, where all problems wait me,
Home where the screaming kids awake me.
Home, where my writing life's waiting silently for me.

Can you name the Song that I butchered shamelessly? Can you name the ARTists?
(A Picasso or a ...?)

[I need more S.&G. in my life. Don't really care for N.S.'s solo work, but S.&G. are awesome--let's hope that S.&G. doesn't mean something awful--I just don't want o give away one of my favorite bands. Can two people really be considered a band? What would they be? A group? A duet? What?]

DJ Conger

  1. Simon&Garfunkel. I think I would call them a band. I love that song!

  2. I love Simon & Garfunkel too. I agree that Simon on his own just isn't as groovy, if you know what I mean.

My fave is "The Sounds of Silence".

  3. I actually like Paul on his own a lot. Rhythm of the Saints, Graceland, Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes, Under African Skies. Me and Julio Down by the School Yard. Classic.

  4. Yeah well, I might be too young for all that, I'll just stick to my new hip music, the stuff all the kids are listening too ;-)

Hahaha JUST KIDDING, I'M JUST SAYING, and so on.

  5. Be careful, Graham. You'll be on this side of the age line soon enough. :)

  6. LOL DJ we posted on the same day. Sorry for all the folks that were looking for a post yesterday. It totally took me a minute to figure out why your post was newer than mine. I posted 32 minutes before you did that's why. HEHEHEHE.
Love S&G and I agree I could use a little more.

  7. I must have messed the date up when I wrote it last week. :(

Sorry. I was wondering where today's post was and why You posted yesterday--because I am LAME, that is why.

Was the release yesterday (Wednesday) then?
